Back to school...again

I'm full swing into my third year of veterinary school - or grade 20 like I told Sophie when she asked what class I was in (she started Kindergarten this year as well). This year looks to be more interesting with my classes finally coming together and my first chance at real surgery! I will pick my senior rotations on Oct 6 so that is exciting, yet slightly frightening that I will be in clinics in less than a year!! FYI - my White Coat Ceremony will be April 27th. That's when we mark our transition from corsework to clinical and get our intimidating white coat!
Clay is keeping busy with his classes as well - finishing up one and getting ready to start another next week. The good news with him is that they are FINALLY opening his position at work to full time, which equals benefits and cheaper health insurance for both of us! Yippee.... Also means that I can get tuition rembursment up to 3 credits for having a spose work for KSU.
Other than school, we have been fishing at a new little lake we found a few miles away, working in the yard, and enjoying the start of football season. I have started some new knitting projects and it's making it hard to study! Speaking of, has anyone drawn names for Christmas yet? It's never too early to start... :)
Hope everyone is doing well!
