First day of Kindergarten
Christopher is getting ready to start his second "full" week of school. He loves it! Every night we hear a 40 minute re-cap of his day complete with what he ate for lunch. Christopher's first day was full of stories too. I laughed about the "curly haired girl" that wouldn't leave him alone. He was so irritated that she sat by him in class and chased him around at recess. He just didn't know why she was bothering him. Too cute! Christopher has a few friends from his soccer and t-ball teams in his class too, so he's been excited to line up with them in the gym each morning. On Thursday I was able to take him to school. He told me where I should park and then ran from the car until he was about 10 feet from the door, then he stopped and walked in a real casual and cool pace up to the door. So independant and "Mr. Cool" already!
Dahrin is enjoying him move up to the 5's room. He has our favorite teacher, Ms. Melissa. Dahrin loves art and Ms. Melissa makes sure he gets to paint and/or color everyday, we have a full folder to bring home each week.
Hope to see you all again soon!
